Midsize Jets - 5-10 passengers, 2000-3000 miles non-stop.

These aircraft can cover transcontinental distances, accommodate larger groups of passengers and are still able to land on smaller runways. They are comfortable, flexible and suitable for in-cabin work.

All models are equipped with a lavatory.

Among the examples: Citation XLS, Columbus, and Sovereign (Cessna), Learjet 60XR or 85 (Bombardier), Falcon 20 (Dassault), Hawker 750, 850XP, and 900XP (Hawker Beechcraft), Legacy 450 and 500 (Embraer).

Super Midsize Jets - 8-10 passengers, 3400-3600 miles non-stop.

These fuel efficient jets make a perfect choice for longer intra-continental flights.

Cabins are more comfortable and amenities are more elite.

Among the examples: Citation X (Cessna), Falcon 2000S and 900DX (Dassault), Legacy 600 (Embraer), Challenger 300 (Bombardier), Hawker 4000 (Hawker Beechcraft).

Large Jets and Heavy (“Bizliner”) Jets - 10-18 passengers, 6000+ miles.

These are the most expensive, highly customizable, luxurious aircraft designed for intercontinental travel in most weather conditions.

The large cabins can feature bedrooms, full-service galleys and dedicated work spaces to keep your business in usual mode.

Large jets are specifically designed bizjets, whereas Heavy jets (or “bizliners”) are usually former commercial airline aircraft adapted for business aviation.

Among the examples: Falcon 7x (Dassault), Global and Challenger models (Bombardier); for Heavy jets - Airbus models and Boeing Business Jets.

These are the 5 main categories of bizjets. Being adapted for particular needs and situations, each category has its niche in the business aviation structure.
