Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation presented the highly anticipated Gulfstream G700 - company`s new flagship and the largest purposedly designed business jet in the world.

The new aircraft is an outstanding example of diversified primacy - in such aspects as general performance, speed, range, classiness of design and innovation.

The unprecedented cabin parameters broke the length, width and height records which previously belonged to Bombardier Global 7500.

A mockup of the new jet was demonstrated by the company`s President, Mark Burns, along with a video presentation, at the National Business Aviation Association Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas in late 2019.

“The Gulfstream G700 takes the very best elements from our most innovative products and unites them with cutting-edge advances to create an all-new, advanced-technology aircraft that redefines safety, comfort and range at speed”, as the president said.

“This announcement is the biggest news in business aviation history and is the result of the investments General Dynamics  made to develop Gulfstream technology for Gulfstream products.

Thanks to our nearly 18,000 employees around the world, the G700 is continuing a long Gulfstream tradition: raising the bar for ourselves and the industry”.

Gulfstream G700`s flight deck is equipped with the Enhanced Flight Vision System, Synthetic Vision and the Predictive Landing Performance System. The latter allows pilots to promptly monitor the runway they`re approaching.

Rolls-Royce Pearl 700 engines and speially designed new winglets make the G700 aircraft fly 7,500 nautical miles (13,890 kilometers) at Mach 0.85 or 6,400 nm (11,853 km) at Mach 0.90.

The plane has various safety features, including the acknowledged Symmetry Flight Deck.

The unprecedently spacious cabin can be divided into five living zones: a huge galley with a lounge for passengers or crew compartment, a dining/conference table for up to 6 people and a master suite equipped with a shower.

Burns has emphasized:

Gulfstream has a long tradition of listening to our customers, and the G700 cabin is the evolution of that collaboration. Customers shared how much they value flexibility and comfort in the cabin, all without compromising the speed and range advantages they have come to expect from Gulfstream. The G700 delivers all that and more”.

Gulfstream G700 is a result of the manufacturer`s longstanding investments into research and development. The novelty is a real sensation for the whole business aviation sector.

You`ll be glad to learn that the aircraft can diminish jetlag with the help of thousands of white and amber LEDs that recreate sunrise and sunsets.

G700 deliveries are expected to start in 2022. The jet will cost $75 million. 10 of them have already been ordered by Qatar Airways.
